I recently added the Makita LS1216L 12-Inch Dual Sliding Compound Miter Saw to my collection of great tools. Three years ago I bought the LS1016 and I soon stopped using my radial arm saw. A month ago, I decided to sell my radial arm saw and get the LS1216L. With two Dual Sliding Compound Miter Saw's I am extremely efficient. I am a home owner doing a home renovation project including crown molding on built-in cabinets and the door and window trim. With the 2 I can set each Compound Miter Saw to the cut I need and get the job done at a fraction of the time. The Makita LS1216L and LS1016L are both very easy to use and accurate.
